How to use dental
floss correctly
Dental caries are mostly caused by
improper brushing.
Even if you thoroughly brush your teeth
a third time during the day, but at the
same time have always gotten cavities,
it might be the area between the teeth
that a toothbrush can’t reach.
You often think food isn’t trapped
between teeth, however, food debris
easily accumulates on the tooth surface.
The tooth is more vulnerable to dental
caries when food is left on teeth,
which is the major cause of cavities.
In this case, dental floss is as essential
as brushing your teeth.
People who floss first don’t know well
how to use dental floss.
Today, we are going to let you know
use of dental floss correctly.
Dental floss is a thin filament used to
remove food particles or dental plaque
between teeth where a toothbrush can’t
reach.
This cleans teeth by moving the
floss back and forth.
Some people use a toothpick instead of
dental floss, but it isn’t correct to keep
teeth and gum healthy.
The proper flossing technique
1. Cut the right length of floss you need
2. Wrap the ends of the floss around
your middle fingers
3. Hold the floss and move it in a pull-push
motion to clean between teeth
4.If the floss becomes dirty,
repeat this motion with clear part.
Flossing is simple, however,
if you don’t floss carefully, it can cause
gum bleeding. If you experience swelling
or bleeding due to scratching,
you would better visit to a dentist and
get dental examination.
There are many patients who visit a dental
clinic due to poor oral hygiene.
We all need to maintain clean and healthy
teeth with regular examination and
periodic scaling.

a top priority"
