Dr, Hyunki Roh from
S-PLANT Dental Hospital attended as a
lecturer to the Dentium World Symposium
at COEX on May 13th.
Dr. Hyunki Roh is a Ph.D in dentistry
from Seoul National University and
he is actively working on the development of
dentistry in Korea with his steady researches
and lectures on dentistry.

From the long history of successful
dental implant treatment era,
we know that classic operational and
prosthetic procedure can provide for
safe and durable result but for a safe
result, use of provisional removable
prosthesis in an edentulous state for
healing period is unavoidable.
However in the modern era,
waiting time can be shortened up to
immediate loading with careful meticulous
planning and preparation such as making
a virtual patient in the computer and
with intra oral scan or model scan data,
3 dimensional photo, used old prosthesis
and planning prosthesis data files
could be arrange to the backbone of
patient CT file and through these alignment,
it is possible to make more valuable planning.
Surgical guide can duplicate the original
planning position of dental implant and
customized abutment and provisional
prosthesis might be designed before
operation. GBR process can be done
simultaneously in immediate loading case
with delicate planning.
In this presentation, it will be considered for
reproducible and satisfactory planning
and doing.

CAD / CAM technology
at the symposium.
